Your winter on the Watles
Romantic. Exciting. Natural. Simply promising.
Cross-country skiing. Skiing. Snowshoe hiking. Ski touring. Or tobogganing. It doesn’t really matter. In Schlinig and the nearby skiing area Watles you may check out everything what you like. The Watles Adventure Mountain awaits you with perfectly prepared slopes and modern lift facilities, a toboggan run and various winter hiking paths leading to rustic alpine pastures and snow-covered summits. Thanks to the manageability and the numerous events, as the Ski Cross World Cup, this skiing area in the Upper Vinschgau Valley is very popular among families with children.
For all those who want to start the day right at the front door, choose one of the numerous cross-country skiing runs. In Schlinig there is located the Nordic Ski Centre with 15 km long runs. Or packs his snowshoes and gets on the road to the alpine pasture “Schliniger Alm”. Always accompanied by the fantastic view of the mountain peaks and the glaciers of the Ortles Group.
